Biorizon Presents Virtual Reality Model of its Biomass to Bio-aromatics Lab at the Green Chemistry Campus
Biorizon presents a virtual reality model of TNO's biomass to bio-aromatics lab in the demo facility of the Green Chemistry Campus in Bergen op Zoom. By ‘walking through’ the model and by clicking on the hot spots you get detailed information about the continuous flow Diels-Alder skid, condensation skid, biphasic reactor & 20l batch reactor. A unique experience!

Dutch Government Invests in Upscaling of Biorizon Research at Green Chemistry Campus
It was recently announced that 130 million euro is being invested in the Dutch Central- and West-Brabant region, 10 million of which contributed by the Dutch government. This is the result of the ‘Central- and West-Brabant Makes and Moves Regional Deal’. One of the 17 projects of the Deal is ‘Knowledge in the Biobased Economy’ project initiated by Shared Research Center Biorizon.

LignoValue Pilot Project: Technology Selected & Call for Application Testing
Recently, Biorizon co-initiator VITO and project partners Worley België and Flemish Environmental Holding (VMH) announced the technology they will use to scale up production of bio-aromatics in the LignoValue pilot installation. Furthermore, the project calls for participation in the form of application testing, feedstock testing & demo plant building. More than 30 companies already have signed a letter of intent.

Biorizon’s BIO-HArT partners UAntwerp and KU Leuven make anticancer medicines from wood
Recently Biorizon partners UAntwerp and KU Leuven announced that they managed to create anticancer medicines from wood. Congratulations! Part of this success was achieved within Biorizon’s BIO-HArT project that scales up technology for the production of bio-aromatics from biomass, focusing specifically on woody biomass sources.
