This is a key feedstock for plasticizers, as well as unsaturated polyester and alkyd resins. Biorizon co-initiator TNO is the initiator of this project and is currently busy with the formation of a consortium and the search for additional funding.Industry Demand for Biobased Coatings

In specific response to the wish of industry to develop biobased coatings, the envisioned project will be aimed at improving and expanding the scientific knowledge base to enable the scale up of biobased PA production and contribute to the development of a sustainable chemical industry and lowering the CO2-footprint.

Call for Partners

We are looking for the following partners:

  • Chemical intermediate manufacturers that are preferably already active in the PA market and would like to collaborate on technology development and the production of biobased PA;
