Biorizon prominently covered in recap of the BIO World Congress Day I

This week Biorizon is at the BIO World Congress in San Diego. Joop Groen presented Shared Research Center Biorizon on Monday where he also participated in a panel discussion on bio-aromatics. Joop's presentation was well received and was prominently covered in the recap of the BIO World Congress Day I.

Another furanics work was presented by Joop Groen from TNO. Groen spoke about the Biorizon Shared Research Center which is looking to scale-up their lab work on furanics. One of the focuses in their research involves taking waste to aromatics. They came up with several technical projects in the derivatization of the furanics to functionalized aromatics and monomers to biobased polymers for coatings, and specialty lubricants.
